Faran’s “Infinity” uses Double Conversion (Online High Frequency UPS) technology and protects equipment against mains fluctuations, sudden voltage changes, common-mode noise, phase faults, lightning and similar disturbances. The system provides 20 kVA frame capacity with 5 kVA per module, making it suitable for banks, medical/laboratory equipment, data centers, IT applications and office machines. Depending on battery capacity and charging time, it can provide backup power after a mains outage. Output voltage is selectable at 240/230/220 V; rated input is 415/400/380 V and the input-voltage range is 277–478 V. The front-panel display shows battery capacity, load, input/output voltage and frequency, and other operating values. The time required to fully charge the batteries depends on battery capacity. Operating temperature is 0–40°C and operating noise is below 55 dB. Faran Infinity features a wide input range, Online Double Conversion, true sine-wave output with THD below 1% at linear load, advanced battery management (ABM), automatic charging with inverter off, EMI/RFI filters, advanced PFC and network-based UPS monitoring. The unit also includes a DSP processor with Cold Start and ECO Mode. . The UPS has no internal battery and requires 12 external battery cells.
